The Gattinara "Tre Vigne" is a full-bodied and intense red wine, aged for 30 months in oak barrels. With a bright garnet color, on the nose it is fruity, enveloping, with notes of ripe plum jam, ash, and tamarind. On the palate, it is warm, full, with robust tannins balanced by a savory final trail.

The Gattinara “Tre Vigne” is a red wine that Travaglini launches on the market only in the best vintages. It is indeed one of the flagship products of the entire range, which, given its prestige, cannot afford to leave the winery's walls unless in perfect condition, when the vintage in the vineyard and the quality of the grapes allow it to reach the perfect quality standards. Thus, a bottle is born that is broad on the nose, where fruity sensations dominate, and solid in the mouth, thanks to an important tannin, perfect for accompanying structured first courses and second courses of red meat and game.

This “Tre Vigne” is made from the grapes of that red-skinned variety which is widely cultivated in Piemonte, Nebbiolo. The vines, trained using the guyot system, grow within three historic vineyards owned by Gattinara, called “Alice”, “Lurghe”, and “Bogianette”, within rocky soils, rich in mineral salts and iron, which contribute to giving the classic reddish color to the soil. The harvest takes place during the first decade of October, and the must obtained from pressing the grapes ferments in stainless steel tanks for 15 days, at a controlled temperature. It is then followed by aging, which takes place for 30 months in Slavonian oak barrels.

The “Tre Vigne” is a Gattinara that, in the glass, develops with a bright and luminous garnet color. The fruity notes are the first to envelop the nose, then giving way to touches that recall ash and more tertiary scents. On the palate, it has excellent body, is warm and round, with a well-defined tannic structure and a sip characterized by a slight savory note. A well-known and appreciated label, with which Gattinara makes an impression, with excellent scores, in both Italian and international guides.
