From our sommeliers
The Moulin-à-Vent Vieilles Vignes by Yohan Lardy originates in Beaujolais from pure Gamay grapes, from a historic vineyard planted in 1903 on the heights of the cru. Hand-harvested and vinified with carbonic maceration and indigenous yeasts, it rests for twelve months in large oak barrels. On the nose, it reveals aromas of black cherry and plum, with violet, licorice, and an intriguing cocoa finish. On the palate, it is deep and fleshy, with great dynamics, dense and mature tannins, vibrant freshness, and long persistence. A Moulin-à-Vent of rare depth, capable of evolving for a long time, perfect with stewed wild boar or goat cheese.
