‘Valle dei Lunghi’ by Alberto Oggero is a macerated white with a rustic imprint, crafted by a Roero winemaker who has made patience and respect for time his hallmark. It is made from white grapes left to macerate for a long time on the skins, a choice that breaks with the linear style of classic whites. On the nose, it brings flowers, yellow-fleshed fruit, and a hint of flint; on the palate, it is fresh, savory, and mineral, with a pleasantly bitter finish.
