The Sauvignon ‘Veliko Vinia Gredic’ by Movia is a characterful white wine from the Slovenian region of Brda. Gredic is a small vineyard on clay 'ponca' soils of great vocation, from which the winery produces some of its best grapes. Initially, the nose reveals a bouquet of dried flowers like chamomile and tea that evolves into balsamic notes, with hints of honey and candied citrus. On the palate, the sip balances freshness and aromaticity, the vibrant sip promises a long aging potential. It pairs beautifully with Asian dishes enriched with teriyaki sauce or more Mediterranean preparations like sea bass or baked octopus.
